Lively Garden Lot Challenge
This lot challenge adds some new effects to your gardening plants. There is a chance that insects will spawn on your plants and your sim can choose to collect them if they like. Some plants can also effect sims that wander near them.

Insects have a chance to spawn on your sim's garden plants. The type of insect that spawns will depend on the plant and the climate the plant is in. You can view more information in-game by choosing the “Gardening Reference” option from any object you can purchase seeds from. This will add some reference info to your sim's notebook.
There's also a chance your sim will get a special buff from fragrant plants or flowers that will give a skill boost:
Fragrant Plant: Inspired — Homestyle Cooking, Gourmet Cooking, Baking
Fragrant Plant: Focused — Gardening
Fragrant Flower: Inspired — Flower Arranging
