1. Make sure it’s not an EA bug

1. Remove all custom content.

2. Clear your cache.

3. Load the game and test.

👉 If the issue still happens, repair your game. If that doesn’t work → it’s an EA bug.
👉 If the issue is gone, keep going.

2. Test only my content 

1. Add back only my custom content.

2. Clear your cache.

3. Load and test.

👉 If the issue is gone → something else (conflict or broken mod) is the problem. 
👉 If the issue stays → move to step 3.

3. Did you get an LE (Last Exception) report? 
LE = “Last Exception” (game error log)

1. Load your save.

2. Use Save As and create a new save.

3. Close game + clear cache.

4. Reload the new save.

👉 If you still get an LE → post it in the 🔎︱report_issues channel on my Discord.
👉 If you didn’t get an LE → move to step 4.

💡 I prefer the report from MCCC (it's more accurate than Better Exceptions), but either will work.

4. Use the 50/50 method to find the broken file

🚨 Important Note! 🚨

Do NOT remove any Core Mods during this step, it will ALWAYS cause errors.

If you've already removed everything else and only the Core Mods are left, then remove the Core Category Mods one at a time to test.

 

The 50/50 Method:​

1. Move half my mods to a temp folder.

2. Clear your cache.

3. Test in game.

👉 If the issue is still there → the broken file is in the half you kept.
👉 If it’s gone → the broken file is in the half you removed.
👉 Keep repeating until you find the exact file(s).
