Keeping it Modular
From the start, I’ve tried to build my mods in a way that makes them easy to use, no matter what else you’ve got in your game or how much space you have in your mods folder. Over time, though, I realized the old setup wasn’t cutting it, so I stepped back and created the modular system I use today.
This new setup is the foundation for all of my content moving forward. It’s simpler, keeps everything organized, and even makes updates faster. Most of the time you only need to update a few Core files instead of re-downloading everything.
Required Files
Most downloads will need a specific Core file to run properly. Each download page will clearly tell you which file(s) you need, and the Core file names line up with the categories on my site to make it easy to know what goes where.
Core files are designed so you only download the parts you actually need, and they’re built to play nicely with most other creators’ content. Things that might cause conflicts (like overrides) are kept separate in an optional file called a Core Modules
Compatibility
I don’t usually track or integrate with other creators’ mods, but I often get asked about SCCO. As of 12/8/23, my required files should be compatible since we use different methods. However, Core Modules may cause conflicts, so it’s best to review them closely before installing both.
A Quick Note
I don’t actively integrate with other creators’ work mainly because it takes a lot of extra time and slows down my own updates. That said, I still plan and test carefully to keep my mods as conflict-free as possible so you can enjoy them together with other content.
Important Download Notice
My mods are only available through my official pages here and through CurseForge. If you find them hosted anywhere else, they are likely outdated and/or incomplete. To save time and avoid frustration, please always download from my official pages so you know you’re getting the latest updates and the version I can actually support.
