Save or Lot Won't Load
❓ Why This Happens

If a recipe gets updated or changed, your lot or save may throw an error and refuse to load.

If you remove a recipe file that’s still used on a lot, the same thing can happen.
🔧 How to Fix It
The way my mods are put together it should be easily fixed by doing the following:
(Assuming you followed the steps in How to Install & Troubleshooting pages first)

Remove the recently updated recipe files.

Not sure which ones? Remove all of these from your Mods folder:

Crafting Recipes
-
Food & Drink Recipes
-
Crafting Mods (Cowplant Farming, Cheesemaking Skill, Canning Skill, etc.)

Open your game and load the save/lot that was broken.

Save your game and exit.
-
Tip: use Save As so your original save stays untouched.

Re-install the recipe/mod files you removed.

Clear your cache.
-
Reload your game → it should work again!
🛑 Still Won’t Load?
If the steps above don’t fix it (rare, but possible):

Restore your backed-up Mods folder and Save.
-
Open the save and delete all my recipes and ingredients from the lot and storages.

Save and exit. (Again, you can use Save As if you prefer.)

Re-install my content, following the Installation & Updates post.
